I don’t want to play the “black friend” card, but in my very multi-cultural group of friends (who have listened to Night Vale) I mentioned the similarities and they were all very appreciative of it, including one of my friends who is black. When I told them someone had perceived it to be racist they all cried Bull Shit and my black friend even went as far to say “I bet they were white” which looking at FandomsandFeminisms’ Bio says they are.
He said he was actually angry that someone was trying to encase his race in a bubble and suggest that black people can only be compared with black people, like their race was inherent to their personality and character.

Currently women hold less than 19% of the seats in US congress. This is less than it was in 1993 and down from our all time high of 24.5% in 2010.
Women make up the majority of the electorate, you vote for male representatives.
Girls, worldwide, are less likely to reach adulthood than boys because of gender based violence. In fact, 80% of the victims of hand held gun violence in war are female.
But this has nothing to do with the USA, the country you’re pushing feminism in, where women have a higher average life expectancy and experience domestic abuse at the same rate as men.
Mothers are more likely to physically abuse their male babies than female babies, and are more likely to abuse in general (apart from sexual) their babies than fathers are.
